For over 20 years, the Chamber of St. Matthews and City of St. Matthews have brought together thousands of residents, dozens of organizations, and countless area businesses in a fun-filled family friendly Halloween event.
For those looking for a free and family-friendly Halloween celebration this is the event for you. Starting as a small community event to give families in St. Matthews a safe place to take their young ones trick-or-treating this event has grown to be very open and welcoming to the entire area. With well over 50 area businesses setting up trick-or-treating stations throughout Brown Park, bounce houses, hay rides, a petting zoo, and games this event is always a great way to get into the Halloween spirit.
The event is held at Brown Park in St. Matthews, located on Kresge Way right next to Baptist Hospital East, it is an easy access park. The trail for Trick-or-Treating runs into the woods on the shorter path, while the hayride runs on the outside longer path. There is much more to do than just collect candy!
