As a adult, who grew up in Corbin, I always got bored and convinced friends to do something crazy all the time, to make it not so boring lol. We would go explore the old Corbin Hospital ruins, or go camping at places we shouldn't, or or go cemetery seeing. Well usually we just joked around d and scared each other but a few times, we got the holy heck scared out of us for real. Once was at the Warfield Cemetery, even though I've been there many times before and after with only minor things happening. Just this once around 3am in August I felt as if we where not alone that night. Shadows and movement out of the corner of my eyes, but never could catch what I saw, myself and my friend kept hearing voices but couldn't quite make it out the actual words. I know I had the whole 2 hrs there a feeling of eyes always on me, and a few times in the older part audible footsteps in the leaves and a few snapped twigs. Cold chills at random times. Yes it could've been a animal, but I've always been rather sensitive to paranormal, plus I'm a follower of the old ways so I honestly believe we were not alone that night. Later after leaving my 3rd friend who was with us but stayed in the car outta fear said she kept seeing what she thought was us coming back through the trees but she would look down at her phone again, to look up and see Noone, plus she felt like something kept looking through the glass at her. She still won't go back and this has been many years ago. But nothing tried to hurt us, i believe they were just watching and being curious too. So you just gotta open yourself to the world around you, and sometimes you can experience the veil or something otherworldly. When visiting places like these please be respectful though, and don't destroy others resting places, you may visit and have alittle fun, but don't vandalize any place that you don't own.

A few years back
About 10 of of went out one evening. It was a hot muggy night, but we were bored and wanted to explore. We went over into the older part of the cemetery and were walking, reading stones to each other, and one of our girls laid a hand on one to kind of wipe away some dirt. She said the stone was vibrating. Sure enough it was. After looking at our pictures when we got home, I found a picture that should have been empty ground, that had a completely see thru headstone on it. I had been attempting to take pictures of the eye shine on the little spiders on the ground....I didn't expect a headstone....

Protective Spirit? Maybe
Up around the old part of the cemetery, my wife could feel a very protective man's presence that was around the older stones. Only in that area though. I used my emf detector and actually got really high spikes in the area she guided me to but not really anywhere else. I also used my digital recorders but caught nothing audible. Did catch an interesting photo but not sure about it yet.

Dying car
Ive been here on 3 separate occasions and all three times the vehicle weve been driving has died and wont start until were outside ofbthe cemetary grounds. Never had car problems in either car until we started to leave. It feels like the spirits are trying to keep you there.
